More Information

When Adam Rich first joined the World of professional wrestling, he came to Global Pro Wrestling without a prayer. He was a very poor fighter, and an even worse man on the microphone. It is unknown as to why exactly the staff at GPW accepted him, but they did nonetheless. Adam started off pathetically, losing every match for over two months! This left Adam Rich (known then as "The Adam Bomb") looking for a new look or style. The result was simple...drop the alias. The new man that emerged was more different than just by label, but by attitude as well. Very shortly after the metamorphasis, Adam won his first match, and at the same time, won his first title, the Hardcore Championship belt. He held it for one of the most disgraceful title reigns in history of only 4 days, but the taste of victory was now in his blood. He could taste it, and he wanted more of it. He would go on to win the TV title not too long after. His record on average about this time was close to a dead-even win-loss. He took a small break near December of 2000, but returned in January. In June, Adam would win his crowning achievement, the GPW World Heavyweight Championship title belt! Although he may have lost it about a week later, missing a HUGE opportunity to go into the federation merge with the ASFW World Champion, he didn't really lose a step. He went on break shortly after the merge, but before he did, he took the time to win a few key matches to get a foothold in the promotion that would keep until he returned seven months later. The time off proved to be amazingly helpful in Rich's career, as he defeated some of the best the GCW has to offer, including the likes of Triple H, Damien Dimaond, John Testament Superstar, and even Stone Cold Steve Austin! Beating JTS brought the GCW National Title to his shoulder as he continues his assault on the federation. After ten months of strongly holding onto this Championship, Rich was recently cheated at GCW Revolution, where The Rock, along with help from members of The Corporation, was able to get his hands on the coveted title. Is this feud over? But after losing the title his first defense, Edge was able to name himself the GCW National Champion. But at the recent PPV, "Highway to Hell 4," Adam was victorious, as we all knew he would be, in whipping ass to win back the National Title, beating Edge. The Rock was taken out before the match by Adam Rich, thus removing his name from the match. After holding the National Title for another two months, thus holding the title for an entire year total, Rich lost the belt to "Too Sexy" James Paige at Wrestle War 2K3, due to interference from The Association, during their debut back to the ring. Now, Rich has set his sights on something higher...the World Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Chris Jericho. Y2J didn't want Rich receiving a title shot, so Rich did what he had to do to earn the shot...win the 2003 King of the Ring Tournament!!! Let's not forget that even then, Jericho tried to keep Adam from winning the tournament, by placing "Chef" Logan Kaine in the tournament as well. But in the end, Rich proved too dedicated for Kaine, and beat him in what turned out to be a GCW Classic.

Now GCW is re-opening, and Adam Rich can't wait to get back in the ring and show the World why he was one of the most inquired-about names when fans heard about GCW coming back.
